Mark has represented public agencies in the Bay Area for over 30 years. He is the Assistant City Attorney for the Town of Hillsborough and outside general counsel to the Sequoia Healthcare District. He provides services to other public agencies on specific matters. Having served as an elected official himself, Mark has a unique understanding of the challenges facing government agencies.
Mark represents owners and developers on all types of land use and zoning matters. He appears frequently in front of Planning Commissions and City Councils on the Peninsula. He has assisted clients with subdivisions, entitlements, conditional use permits, variances, and design approvals. Mark was named a California “Superlawyer” in land use planning in 2016.
Mark represents clients involved in all types of real estate disputes. His cases have involved purchase and sale contracts, landlord-tenant issues, easements and property line disputes, nondisclosure and breach of fiduciary duty, partition, and disputes between co-owners.
